- 4 small cups of rice
- 12 small glasses of water
- 600 grams of chicken
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 can of fried tomato
- 1 handful of salt
- 2 cubes of concentrated chicken broth
How to make quick and easy chicken rice:
- Gather all the ingredients you need to prepare this rice with chicken and vegetables.
- Cut the chicken into large pieces so that it spreads better throughout the casserole.
- Trick: You can use any part of the bird, both wings, chicken breasts and thighs.
- Clean the peppers, onions and garlic well, and then cut everything a bit and put it in a food processor to grind it all together.
- Once everything is crushed, put the sauce in a casserole (if it is clay, better) and fry it well.
- Meanwhile, in a separate skillet, brown the chicken well on all sides, reserving for later.
- Next, add the fried tomato and the chicken broth cubes to the casserole, and fry everything for another 5 minutes so that the flavors are well integrated.
- Once the sauce is prepared, add the glasses of rice and then the glasses of water, raise the heat to the maximum and let the rice cook like this for about 8 minutes.
- If you are one of those who like to eat like me, I advise you to add 1 or 2 more glasses of rice, with the corresponding amount of water, so that you can repeat the dish.
- Trick: Remember that the proportion is 3 glasses of water for 1 glass of rice.
- After that time, add the fried chicken, lower the heat to a minimum and continue cooking the easy-to-make chicken rice for about 8-10 more minutes.
- When the rice has been cooked and has absorbed almost all the water, turn off the heat and cover it with a clean cloth or cloth to let it rest for about 2 minutes.
