Ingredients to make Tuna Rice Cake:
- 250 grams of Rice
- 4 cans of Tuna in olive oil
- 300 grams of Mayonnaise
- 30 grams of grated cheese
- 1 jet of Oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make Tuna Rice Cake:
- We prepare all the ingredients for the rice cake on the counter, already measured.
- We start by cooking the rice with a little oil, salt and pepper. We can do it the day before to advance, in which case, we would reserve it in the fridge.
- Add the tuna oil to the rice and fry it so that it takes on the flavor of the tuna.
- After 15-20 minutes, depending on the rice you use, it will be ready. Keep in mind that in the end we are going to put it in the oven or in the microwave and it will cook a little more. Now with a plating ring or similar we are going to make the layers of rice on a layer of baking paper.
- On top of the rice we will cover with a layer of mayonnaise to continue with the assembly of the cake.
- Another tuna on top of the mayonnaise, look at the image.
- We put another layer of mayonnaise again and repeat the operation one or two more times (to taste).
- On top of the last layer of mayonnaise we will cover with a generous layer of cheese and put it in the oven or microwave to gratin.
