Ingredients to make Sticky rice with seafood:

  1. 250 grams of Rice
  2. 1 unit of whole lobster
  3. 4 garlic cloves
  4. Water or previously prepared fish broth
  5. 1 splash of virgin or extra virgin olive oil
  6. 1 handful of mussels
  7. 1 handful of Prawns
  8. 1 handful of cuttlefish pieces
  9. 1 handful of peeled prawns
  10. 1 pinch of salt and parsley

How to make Sticky rice with seafood:

  • First, the lobster is cut into quarters, or into smaller pieces so that diners don’t have to cut it themselves. Then, in a casserole, the shellfish are sautéed with a drizzle of oil.
  • Then, add the four peeled and chopped garlic cloves, and let it cook for a few more seconds. Then, add the rice, sauté for a few seconds and pour in the previously prepared fish broth. We can also use water, but the broth will provide a more intense flavor. Let it cook for approximately 14 minutes, and add salt to taste.
  • Seal the chopped lobster in a pan with a drizzle of oil. Add to the rice and cook everything together for about 4-5 minutes. Chop the parsley and sprinkle over the seafood rice.
  • The honeyed rice with seafood and lobster is served in a deep plate. As advice for the preparation of the broth: in a casserole a couple of cloves are sautéed in a stream of oil together with a chopped onion and a few sprigs of parsley. Cover with plenty of water, add salt and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat. Strain the broth and save. Bon profit!
