- 150 grams of Octopus
- 100 grams of Prawns
- 250 grams of Arborio rice
- 1 pinch of Saffron
- 1 pinch of Paprika
- 50 grams of onion
- 50 grams of red pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 30 milliliters of olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make soupy rice with octopus and prawns:
- Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
- In a pot with water and salt, cook the octopus cut into pieces for 20 minutes. Reserve the cooking water to prepare the rice.
- Separately, in a pot with oil, fry the onion, garlic and finely chopped pepper until soft. Season.
- Add the rice and tomato paste to the pot. Mix with the sauce very well for a few minutes.
- Add the paprika, saffron and little by little the octopus broth. Keep stirring until the grain of the rice is al dente, rectify the flavor with salt and pepper.
- Trick: Approximately 750 ml of octopus broth are used for this preparation
- Five minutes before finishing the rice, add the prawns and the seasoned octopus. Mix very well and continue cooking.
