Microwave Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make Microwave Rice:

  • 250 grams of Rice
  • 600 milliliters of Water (2½ cups)
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Microwave Rice:

  1. Making rice in the microwave is extremely easy, so we’ll start by placing the rice in a microwave-safe bowl along with the water and oil.
  2. Line the bowl with cling film and poke holes in it with a fork.
  3. If you use a tapper you must place the lid without fixing it completely
  4. Cook the rice in the microwave programming for 6 minutes at 800w.
  5. It is important to keep in mind that each microwave is different but don’t worry, once you dare to cook more with the microwave you will find the exact point and the dishes will be perfect.
  6. Then take the bowl out of the microwave and very carefully uncover. Remove the rice and add salt and some aromatic herb if you wish.
  7.  You can add a pinch of concentrated broth powder or garlic for example.
  8. Once this is done, cover it again and insert the microphone. Program lowering the temperature to 600w for 8 minutes.
  9. After this time, take out the bowl, carefully uncover again and you will have a great microwave rice ready.
  10.  This type of rice is great because it allows you to save time and get out of trouble if you have run out of gas.
  11. Other recipes that you can also make in this way are the famous Nesquick sponge cake or some potato chips to accompany your best dishes.
