Ingredients to make Green Rice with Spinach:
- 1 cup of rice
- ½ cup fresh Cilantro
- ½ cup spinach
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Oil
How to make Green Rice with Spinach:
- In a blender put the spinach leaves and cilantro together with the vegetable broth.
- Also add a pinch of pepper and salt.
- Blend well and Reserve.
- Apart, in a pot place the oil, heat and add the rice. Stir a few minutes without browning the rice.
- Next, add the broth, strained if you don’t want the rice to be so intense, and when it starts to boil, lower the heat and continue cooking for 20 minutes.
- After this time, turn off the heat and let it rest right there for 10 minutes.
