Ingredients to make Salmon and Philadelphia Sushi:
- 200 grams of special rice for sushi
- 3 nori seaweed
- 1 baby cucumber
- 1 avocado
- 1 previously frozen salmon fillet
- Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 handful of sesame seeds
- Soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of wine or apple cider vinegar
- Water
How to make Philadelphia Salmon Sushi:
- Wash the rice until the water runs clear, in my case about 5-7 times. Cook according to package directions. Meanwhile, prepare the ingredients that we will use to make the salmon and Philadelphia sushi. If you don’t know how to prepare fish for sushi, you just have to thaw the salmon and cut it into small and homogeneous strips if it is to be rolled or into thin slices if it is to make nigiris.
- When the rice is ready, it is spread out on a large tray or container and moved without destroying it with a tongue. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar dissolved in 3 tablespoons of wine vinegar. And fan for 5-10 minutes.
- To assemble the salmon and avocado makis, place the rough part of the nori seaweed towards you, on a mat with transparent film, matching the horizontal lines with those of the mat. Arrange all the ingredients that we want for the salmon and Philadelphia sushi in rows and roll up tightly, pressing towards you.
- To make the salmon nigiri, wet your hands and take a ball of rice that fits in a closed fist. Mold with your hands until you give them the desired shape. Place the salmon slice on top and serve.
- To make the salmon sushi California rolls, do the same as for the makis but roll the salmon and Philadelphia sushi upside down, that is, with the rice on the outside and the nori seaweed on the inside together with all the ingredients. Then coat them with the sesame seeds on the outside.
- Once you have all the types of salmon and Philadelphia sushi you want, serve them on the plate you want and dip them in soy sauce for a more intense flavor.
