Ingredients to make Salmon Skin Sushi:
- 1 cup of cooked sushi rice
- 2 units of leftover salmon skin
- 4 units of nori seaweed
- 1 unit of Avocado or avocado
- 1 jar of cream cheese
How to make Salmon Skin Sushi:
- The first step to make our recipe is to prepare the ingredients for our homemade sushi.
- Remember that to make sushi we must always have a bowl with water to moisten the hands and the knife.
- It is very important to have a bamboo mat to make the sushi rolls. Line the mat with plastic wrap. Separately, prepare the sushi rice following the instructions in this simple recipe.
- Bring a pot to medium heat with enough oil to fry. Once hot add the salmon skins and fry them until they are crispy.
- Reserve the salmon skin on a plate with absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
- Add a sheet of nori seaweed on the mat, it is important to remember that the part where we are going to add the rice is the wrinkled part. Add the rice with your hands, a little cream cheese on top of the rice and pieces of avocado or avocado.
- Add the crispy salmon skin as seen in the photograph.
- It is important that you wet the rest of the remaining nori seaweed with the water that you have in the bowl and that you roll up the sushi exerting pressure so that it is tight and does not fall apart when we cut it into bites.
- The important thing is that our roll remains firm. Then, you must cut carefully so as not to destroy the sushi bites, approximately 8 or 10 bites can come out of a sushi roll. Remember to wet the knife every time you cut a portion to make it easier for you to do this work.
- Serve the crispy salmon skin sushi by adding a little teriyaki sauce to the side of the plate. This option is new in the different types of Japanese restaurants but it is an innovative idea and ideal to take advantage of all the ingredients of our raw material.
