Colombian three-meat rice is a recipe to share with the whole family. Economical, delicious and profitable. Super recommended!!!
This is what Paola Alarcon tells us, the person in charge of sharing this Colombian recipe full of flavor and color. This rice with chicken dish, which also has meat and sausages, is perfect for a weekend meal, and it is also great when reheated, which makes it a good option to take to work or a tupperware recipe.
Ingredients to make Colombian three-meat rice:
- 1 pound of pork
- 1 pound of beef
- 1 chicken breast (large)
- 2 cups of rice
- 7 mushrooms
- 2 handfuls of Chinese roots
- 1 jet of oil
- 90 grams of margarine
- 1 splash of soy or soy sauce
- 3 carrots
- 5 sausages
- 2 big onions
- 3 red bell peppers
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Colombian Three Meat Rice:
- Cut the carrots, peppers and big-headed onions into julienne strips. Reserve the vegetables.
- On the other hand, cook the white rice in a traditional way, with double the water, seasoning to taste until it is done and loose.
- To make our 3 meat rice you can use any type of rice although we recommend using white rice.
- While the rice is cooking you can cut the meats into cubes, the ideal is that everything has more or less the same size, the chicken, the beef, the sausages and the pork.
- When you have everything cut, heat a frying pan with a trickle of oil and fry each meat (except the sausages) separately until sear. Reserve.
- In the same pan, add a little butter and sauté the filleted mushrooms. Reserve.
- Sauté the onion, peppers, carrots and Chinese roots in a little oil.
- Add 4 dashes of soy sauce at the end and stir everything well for this vegetable wok to take on flavor.
- Now that you have everything ready separately, the last thing you should do to finish the three meat rice is to place the rice in a bowl or a large pot and mix with all the previous preparations.
- Serve a good plate of this rich Colombian three-meat rice and accompany it with French fries and a rich sweet and sour salad with pineapple.
