Ingredients to make Fish in tartar sauce:
- 400cc of oil
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 2 tablespoons chopped pickled vegetables
- 2 chopped hard-boiled eggs
- 2 eggs, the yolks
- 75 ccs of lemon, juice
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 kilo of fish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
How to make Fish in tartar sauce:
- Cook the fish in salted water and, once ready, let it cool. Prepare the tartar sauce by beating the egg yolks and adding the oil, little by little, until a consistent mayonnaise is formed.
- Add the salt, mustard, lemon, vinegar, egg, parsley, pickles in vinegar and capers.
- Put the drained fish in a dish, cover it with the sauce and place a potato salad around it.
- If the fish used were hake or sea bass, it should be put in a colander with coarse salt before cooking to harden the meat and thus prevent it from falling apart when cooking
- Before cooking it, wash it well.
