Easy Tuna Antipasto Recipe

The antipastiis a delicious Italian starter that aims to awaken the palate and whet the appetite before meals. There are many types of antipasto; I know it can be made with an infinite number of ingredients, so it can be served hot or cold. The tuna antipasto is one of the simplest; learn how to make it with this recipe.

Ingredients to make Easy Tuna Antipasto:

  • 1 jar of Pickles
  • 1 jar of Olives
  • 1 jar of Mushrooms
  • 125 grams of Carrot
  • 250 grams of Cauliflower
  • 250 grams of white onion
  • 3 cans of Tuna in oil
  • 10 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 medium jar of tomato sauce

How to make Easy Tuna Antipasto:

  1. We cook the carrots cut into small squares for about three minutes; the cauliflower is precooked in water with half a teaspoon of sugar and half a teaspoon of salt.
  2. Cut the other ingredients, the paprika and the onion into very thin julienne strips, sauté in hot oil, covered for three minutes over medium heat. Add the rest of the finely chopped vegetables with the tuna (without the oil), the tomato sauce, and 4 tablespoons of the pickle vinegar and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  3. To serve our tuna antipasto, let the mixture rest and serve it cold accompanied by crackers, toast, chips or Arabic bread.
