Recipe for courgettes gratin with cream

With this simple recipe you will learn how to make delicious, quick and ideal zucchini gratin with cream to surprise all diners. Take note of the ingredients and get to work!

Ingredients to make courgettes gratin with cream:

  • 3 units of medium zucchini
  • 1 unit of onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 unit of ripe tomato
  • 200 milliliters of liquid cooking cream
  • 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1 small glass of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter

How to make courgettes gratin with cream:

  1. We prepare all the ingredients to make this recipe for zucchini gratin.
  2.  So, finely chop the onion, cut the garlic cloves into thin slices, peel the tomato and cut it into small pieces and the zucchini into squares of approximately one centimeter.
  3. In a pot with a little olive oil, fry the onion and garlic for six minutes.
  4.  Then, we add the zucchini and a little more oil; we let it fry for another 15 minutes.
  5. Then, add the tomato, salt and pepper to taste and cook until the zucchini is soft (approx. 15 min.).
  6. Remove the pot from the heat and add the liquid cream, mix and transfer the whole to a container suitable for the oven.
  7. In a pan we heat the butter.
  8. When it has melted, add the breadcrumbs and the chopped parsley, mix the whole for a couple of minutes
  9. Sprinkle the zucchini with the mixture from the pan and put it in the oven to gratin at 200ºC for a few minutes, until golden brown and serve the zucchini gratin hot.
