FoodsDiary By FoodsDiary

Ingredients to make Couscus with salmon and oregano:

  • 5 units of salmon fillets.
  • 2 tablespoons of dried oregano.
  • 100 ml of mustard.
  • 500 grams of couscous.
  • Lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon butter.
  • I jumped.

How to make Couscus with salmon and oregano:

  1. Prelist the ingredients.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in the lemon juice, mustard, oregano and pepper. Place in the fridge or freezer for about an hour.
  3. In a pot, add 700 ml of water and bring it to a medium heat until it boils. Once the water is at a boil, add the couscous and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.
  4. Bring the cooked couscous to a frying pan over low heat with the butter and add a little salt and pepper. Sauté for a few minutes.
  5. In a medium skillet add a little oil, once hot add the salmon fillets and fry first on the side where the salmon skin is not found, adding a little marinade juice. Fry for approximately four minutes.
  6. Flip over to the skin side and let fry for another 4 to 6 minutes. Turn off the heat
  7. Serve our recipe by making a bed with the couscous and adding each fillet on top of it, in my case garnish with pine nuts and a very simple balsamic vinegar reduction. Enjoy.
