Soy stew with tomato recipe

Ingredients to make Tomato Soy Stew:

  • 250 grams of coarse textured soy
  • 250 grams of fresh tomato
  • half carrot
  • Half an onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 can of peas
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ dl olive oil
  • Salt

How to make Tomato Soy Stew:

1. Soak the soy making sure that it is not too soft.

2. Drain and fry until golden brown superficially and reserve.

3. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in brunoised (finely chopped) and the carrot in thin slices.

4. When they are fried, add the chopped tomato, and once a tomato sauce has formed, add the paprika.

5. Remove and wet with water until covered.

6. Let the whole thing boil, covered, for 10 minutes and then add the salt, the soybeans and the drained peas.

7.We cook 5 more minutes and serve the stew.
