Curry rice with tofu is a healthy recipe, ideal for those who have adopted a healthy lifestyle by increasing the amount of vegetable protein in their diet. In addition to being a dish that you can eat for both lunch and dinner, this rice with tofu is vegan, which means that it does not contain any ingredients of animal origin, but if you are not a vegan it is okay, you can also try it because the truth is that it is delicious.
Ingredients for Curry Rice with Tofu:
- 2 cups of cooked white rice
- 80 grams of long or green onion
- 180 grams of Tofu
- 1 teaspoon Curry powder
- 30 grams of pine nuts
- 1 glass of white wine
- 4 teaspoons of black sesame seeds
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
How to make Tofu Curry Rice:
- Before making our recipe you must list the ingredients.
- Bring a large skillet over medium heat and once hot, add the olive oil and the finely chopped long onion. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Once you see that the onion is transparent, add the tofu in medium squares and sauté well with the rest of the ingredients.
- Next, add the white rice in this case I wanted to use rice for risotto but if you don’t have this type of rice you can do it with ordinary white rice.
- Mix all the ingredients well, add the curry and as a complement any type of dried fruit such as pine nuts, peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.
- You will notice that the texture of the preparation will start to turn creamy, since the risotto contains a lot of starch. Rectify flavor and if you want you can add some more ingredient.
- Serve our curry rice with tofu by adding a teaspoon of sesame seeds to each plate and a fresh basil leaf on top as a decoration, to give a different touch to the recipe.
