How to make Quinoa salad with avocado and tuna:

  • Gather all the ingredients, with everything at hand, it will not take you more than 5 minutes to prepare this delicious salad.
  • I have chosen to use a glass of precooked quinoa that only needs 1 minute in the microwave to be ready. If you prefer to cook the quinoa fresh, you can review the recipe for quinoa burgers, where it is explained with photos how to do it.
  • Prepare the quinoa and reserve on a large plate to cool quickly. Remember that our quinoa salad with tuna is a cold salad.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the rest of the ingredients. First finely chop the parsley and cut the lemon in half. We will use these ingredients as a dressing for our fresh salad. Of parsley you need at least a full tablespoon.
  • Also cut the tomatoes in half, about 10 will be enough. If you don’t have cherry tomatoes you can use any tomato variety you like.
  • To cut the avocado, first chop it in half, remove the seed or bone, and make a grid with the knife, cutting the meat but leaving the skin intact.
  • Then use a spoon to loosen the avocado meat from the shell, you will see how the avocado cut into squares falls.
  • Recover the dish with the quinoa now at room temperature and mix all the ingredients. Finish by sprinkling the parsley together with a few drops of lemon and correct the flavor to taste with a little salt and pepper.
