Miso and Spices Glazed Turnips Recipe

  • 2 units of white turnips
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon miso
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of oil

How to make Spiced Miso Glazed Turnips:

  1. Peel the turnips and cut them into thick sticks or wedges. Dilute the miso in the broth.
  2. Heat the pan with a little oil and sauté the turnips and garlic until lightly browned.
  3. Add all the spices to the bread, the sugar, the sunflower seeds and the miso diluted in the broth.
  4. Bring broth to a boil, lower heat to medium.
  5. Let the turnips cook with the same until the brother is reduced leaving a rich sauce
