Ingredients to make Mexican Drunken Beans:

  • 1 pound of pinto beans
  • 1 unit of Onion (Cut in two)
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 cups of beer
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Dip
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 3 units of Tomato
  • 1 unit of Onion
  • 6 units of Chile Serrano or Haji
  • 1 bunch of coriander
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Mexican Brach Beans:

1. Put the beans to soak the day before.

2. Drain them, put them in a pot well covered with water and add the onion, garlic, oil, and salt. Cook for 90 minutes or until the beans are almost tender, add more water during cooking if necessary.

3. Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes.

4. Fry the onion in the oil and when it is slightly golden, add the tomatoes, the peppers, and the cilantro. All finely chopped previously. Salt and fry.

5. Add the sauce to the cooked beans, sprinkle with the beer, rectify the seasoning and cook until the beans are very tender. You can process the sauce if you want it more liquid.

6. Finally, pour the Mexican drunken beans on a plate and serve with the typical corn tortillas or white rice.
