Ingredients to make breaded sardines in the oven:
- 12 medium sardines
- 6 slices of fresh bacon
- 2 garlic cloves
- Parsley on branch
- Juice of two lemons
- Enough breadcrumbs
- 75ml olive oil
- Salted
How to make breaded sardines in the oven:
- Wash the sardines and remove the head and bone, leaving them open like a book; drizzle with a little lemon juice and a drizzle of oil.
- Salt lightly and reserve for 10 minutes in the fridge.
- Step 2 add to the breadcrumbs the garlic cloves and the parsley, both finely chopped.
- Divide each slice of bacon in half and place one half on top of each sardine; pass them through the grated bread and place on a clay fountain.
- Step 3 preheat the oven to 200 °c.
- Lightly drizzle the sardines with a lemon juice oil mixture and bake until the breadcrumbs are crisp and golden.
