2. Wash the lentils and add them to the pot. We have decided to make the lentils with rice using dry lentils, but you can also use canned lentils if you want to speed up the process.
3. Cover the pot with water, adding between 1 liter and a half and 2 liters. Cook the lentils with vegetables for about 30 minutes over medium-low heat.
Tip: If you use canned lentils, the cooking time will be less, about 15-20 minutes.
4. At this time, add the rice and leave the preparation on the fire for about 20 more minutes or until it is to your liking.
