Ingredients to make snail stew:
- Snails (at discretion)
- 1 bunch of fennel
- 1 onion
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 pepper
- Salt
- gofer
- 1 glass of white rum
How to make snail stew:
- Pour the snails into hot water and bring to a boil, leave over medium heat for about 50-60 minutes.
- Enough water to cover the snails and a little more.
- Add a good handful of salt, pepper and an onion cut into 2-3 pieces.
- A few minutes before taking them off the heat, add the fennel and a crushed clove of garlic and cumin (1 teaspoon).
- To accompany the snails, gofer is kneaded with the cooking water and a small glass of white rum. Enjoy them!!
