  • 1 liter of milk
  • 100 grams of half cream
  • 100 grams of condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 package of cookies type Maria
  • molds or cups
  • Wooden popsicle sticks
  1. To start the Maria cookie ice cream recipe, in a container mix the liter of milk with the media crema.
  2. You can substitute the half cream for whipping cream or milk cream (cream for desserts) to make the mixture even creamier, also if you prefer you can use vegetable milk such as almond or oat milk.
  3. Do not miss the Half Cream Recipe if you opted for this ingredient.
  4. Add the condensed milk and mix until combined.
  5. The condensed milk will be the sweetener for the Maria cookie pops, but you can use the sweetener that you like best, some type of sugar or Stevia.
  6. Another completely valid option is to reduce the caloric intake by using unsweetened condensed milk.
  7. Add the teaspoon of vanilla essence and mix once more.
  8. You can substitute the vanilla by adding a little anise essence, which will give it a sweeter flavor.
  9. Crush the cookies with your hands or use a bag and a rolling pin, you can even use a food processor to get a finer texture, although personally I prefer the cookie to be in large pieces.
  10. Proceed to assemble the Maria cookie palettes. To do this, in your mold or glass add some crushed cookies and immediately pour the milk mixture.
  11.  To make a unique Maria biscuit ice cream, you can mix the cream with the chopped biscuits and even crush it all together and pour the result into a freezer-safe container.
  12. Finally, place the wooden stick making sure it is in the center and not tilted so that it is easier to remove the ice cream from the mold and it can be eaten more easily.
  13. Then, reserve the popsicles in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
  14. After enough time in the freezer, you can now enjoy these delicious and creamy palettes of Maria cookies. Unmold and eat on a hot day!
  15.  Remember that you can also make them in a creamy ice cream format in a single container.
