Ingredients to make Irish coffee or Irish coffee:
- 50 milliliters of Jameson Whiskey
- 8 grams of white sugar
- 1 double espresso
- Cream of milk or Cream
- 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
How to make Irish coffee or Irish coffee:
- In an old-school glass, pour the whiskey together with the sugar, heat in the coffee pot, bringing it almost to a boil, and immediately afterwards, light and flame until the sugar dissolves, stirring with a long spoon.
- This process should never exceed 45 seconds since then we begin to burn the alcohol.
- On the other hand, we prepare the double espresso in the saucepan with two coffees and help to drop the coffee with a long spoon, trying not to mix it. The more sugar the mixture has, the more difficult it will be to mix.
- Finally, we prepare the milk cream leaving it quite thick, in case of not knowing how to assemble it we can use whipped cream directly.
- We carefully add it to the glass creating a small base and we go up until we create a decorative peak on the top. In this way we will get our three-color Irish coffee.
- To finish we sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the cream and enjoy our spectacular Irish coffee or Irish coffee.
