If you like the bitter taste of cocoa powder with a sweet touch and you want a dessert that is a little lighter and healthier than the classics, prepare these condensed milk and chocolate truffles with only 3 ingredients, plus 1 that is optional (salt). Check here, in this article, all the steps and you will see how you end up loving them.
Ingredients to make condensed milk chocolate truffles:
- 1 can of condensed milk (approx. 400 g)
- 2 tablespoons of 100% pure cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pinch of salt (optional)
- 100% pure cocoa powder for coating
How to make Chocolate Truffles with Condensed Milk:
- Place the butter in a skillet or saucepan over low heat and wait for it to melt.
- Next, add the salt and cocoa powder and mix until all the lumps are dissolved.
- Salt helps bring out the flavor of the cocoa, but it is an optional ingredient.
- Trick: I do not recommend substituting butter for margarine to make condensed milk and chocolate balls because margarine contains trans-cholesterol or hydrogenated fats and they are very harmful to health.
- Add the condensed milk and stir until the mixture detaches from the bottom of the saucepan as seen in the photo.
- At that moment, turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a buttered mold.
- Let the mixture cool and form the condensed milk and chocolate balls with your hands, approximately molding the truffles the size of a walnut.
- Place the remaining cocoa powder on a plate and coat the chocolate truffles made with condensed milk well until they are completely covered.
- And ready! Enjoy this sweet with pure cocoa and tell us in the comments what has appeared to you.
