Ingredients to make Chocolate Tiramisu:

  • 1 piece of sponge cake base to fill
  • 1 glass of soluble cocoa powder low in sugars (it can be normal soluble cocoa)
  • 3 glasses of semi-skimmed milk
  • 3 units of XL egg
  • 100 grams of sugar (½ cup)
  • 300 grams of mascarpone cheese
  • 250 packets of whipping cream

How to make Chocolate Tiramisu:

  1. We start from the base, with a ladybug- style sponge cake with 6 well-filled portions, you can also use conventional ladybug cakes.
  2. Slice the cake into three equal slices and reserve.
  3. You can also do it with a regular vanilla sponge cake, as we show you in this homemade tiramisu recipe.
  4. Trick: You can also use the ladybug biscuits.
  5. Now prepare the first part of the mascarpone filling. Beat the eggs vigorously until they take on a whitish tone, add the sugar slowly until it is completely dissolved and the mixture is creamy. Booking.
  6. Pour the milk and cocoa into a bowl to make the chocolate mixture.
  7. Use a small glass and beat until the mixture is very well integrated and without lumps.
  8. Pour the chocolate mixture over the first base of the cake. Bathe it slowly without overflowing, although you will see that this type of cake absorbs the liquid quickly.
  9. Once you have the first base, let it rest and continue with the preparation.

  11. Add the mascarpone cheese to the mixture of eggs and sugar.
  12. Do it little by little and with enveloping movements, if it is difficult for you can use a kitchen tongue.
  13. Make sure that the mascarpone cheese is out of the fridge for at least an hour before using it to make your work easier.
  14. Whip the cream until stiff and pour the egg and mascarpone mixture into it. Go slowly to avoid losing air and creaminess.
  15. The best way to mix is ​​to do it with enveloping movements until the ingredients are well integrated.
  16. Tip: The cream must be very cold in the fridge before whipping it.
  17. Put a thick layer of cream on top of the wet sponge cake base, help yourself with a spatula or kitchen tongue.
  18. Next, sprinkle the cocoa evenly over the cream base, do it with a strainer.
  19. Go doing the same with the next two layers of cake. That is, you dip each layer with the chocolate milkshake, spread the layer of cream, and finish with a layer of cocoa powder.
