Ingredients to make Chai Tea:

  1. 1 cinnamon stick
  2. 1 piece of fresh ginger
  3. 100 milliliters of Water
  4. 2 units of Clove
  5. 250 milliliters of Milk
  6. 2 units of black tea
  7. 2 units of Cardamom

How to make Chai Tea:

  • The first step is to gather all the ingredients to make the Chai tea. This tea can also be taken without milk and in some versions includes nutmeg and white pepper.
  • Bring the water to a boil and when it boils add the black tea, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Cardamom helps speed up metabolism and is a great ally for eliminating fluids.
  • Next we add the peeled ginger. Remember that ginger is a food that prevents nausea and helps the immune system. We simmered for 3 minutes.
  • Add the milk and boil for 2 more minutes. After this time we cover the Chai tea and let it rest for another 5 minutes.
  • Strain the Chai tea. This drink can be seasoned with honey or agave syrup. If you are diabetic, you can use any sweetener that you usually take. Also, in case you didn’t know, cinnamon helps reduce blood sugar levels.
