How to make Kiwi Banana Smoothie:
- We gather the ingredients to prepare our fruit smoothie. As you can see, I have used ripe bananas to make this recipe, in fact ripe bananas are much sweeter than those that are less black, so if you use bananas with this aspect, it will not be necessary to sweeten the drink with sugar or sweeteners.
- Peel and cut the banana into slices, although everything is going to blend, I prefer to cut the fruit a little to avoid lumps and help the blender to do its job better.
- Bananas are one of the most consumed fruits in the world, they provide us with a lot of vitamins, they are rich in fiber and they do not contain any fat. When you have very ripe fruit left in the pantry, don’t forget that you can always make juices, smoothies or a banana cake!
- We do the same with the kiwi, peel and cut the fruit and add it to the blender glass. I have used yellow kiwis that are juicier, but you can use the classic green kiwi.
- For its part, kiwi is a fruit rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C, it also has relaxing properties and is known to reduce stress and nerves.
- Add a little water and a squeeze of lemon.
- I always add a little lemon juice to all the fruit smoothies I make, the acid in the lemon helps bring out the flavors of the fruits. If you want you can also add chia seeds or guy berries to the smoothie.
- Blend everything for a few minutes until it is completely liquid, without any lumps. The amount of water is to taste, I prefer thicker shakes but if you like more liquid you can add a little more water to taste.
- You can also make this smoothie with milk, yogurt, green tea, or chamomile for a relaxing drink.
- Drink your banana and kiwi smoothie at the moment at breakfast or during the snack, you will see that its flavor is spectacular.
