Banana and Cookie Smoothie

  1. 4 units of digestive biscuits
  2. 1½ units of Banana
  3. 1½ glasses of skimmed milk

  • To make this delicious banana smoothie, the first thing you have to do is prepare the ingredients. This nutritious shake does not contain sugar because both the cookies and the fruit already contain enough.
  • The next step will be to break the cookies a little and put them in the blender. If you don’t have a blender you can use any blender or chop everything you have at home. I have used digestive type biscuits but you can use Maria biscuits or any of your preference.
  • Next, chop the banana and add it to the blender along with the cookies. The riper the banana is, the smoothie will be sweeter.
  • Now it’s the turn of the milk. Add the milk along with the other ingredients. I have used skimmed milk so that this delicious banana milkshake has less fat, but you can use any milk you want.
  • Process everything for about 5 minutes or until you see that all the ingredients have been crushed and integrated. You can taste the mixture and correct the taste by adding sugar, vanilla, cinnamon or whatever you want. I have not added any extra ingredients and the banana shake has been perfect.
  • The banana and cookie shake is the perfect snack, a complete and nutritious drink to take in the middle of the afternoon or to start the day.
