  • 6 kilograms of quinces
  • juice of a lemon
  • 2 liters of water
  • 200 grams of sugar (1 cup)
  • 2 ground cloves

How to make easy quince jam:

  1. To start with the quince jam recipe, first peel and core the quinces, chop them up and put them in the pot.
  2. Add the lemon juice, the water and wait for the mixture to boil. Once it reaches the boiling point, cook for an hour over low heat.
  3. After the first hour, add the sugarand, when it dissolves, also add the ground cloves and wait another hour. Remember to stir the quince jam from time to time so that it does not stick.
  4. After that time, if you like how the texture of the homemade quince jam has turned out, you can leave it like that or beat it to make it homogeneous. It will be ready to pack!
  5. To package the quince jam, it is important that it be stored in glass jars with a lid that closes well and is vacuum so that it lasts longer.
  6. This easy quince jam is ideal for breakfast or snack with toast, but also to fill all kinds of biscuits and cakes, like a vanilla biscuit, for example.
