Ingredients to make mini cold skewers:
- 6 units of black olives
- 6 units of cured cheese in cubes
- 1 unit of Carrot
- ½ unit of Avocado
- 3 units of Red Cherry Tomato
- 3 units of Yellow Cherry Tomato
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 splash of lemon juice
- 1 jet of olive oil
How to make mini cold skewers:
We gather all the ingredients to prepare the cold mini brochettes. We are going to prepare two varieties of mini skewers by combining the ingredients: a carrot, yellow tomato and avocado skewer; and another of olives, red tomato and cured cheese. First, we peel the carrot and cut it into small squares.
Keep in mind that these are mini skewers, so the size of the ingredients has to be ‘mini’. In this way each skewer will be a bite and you can distribute them elegantly as party appetizers. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into four parts. Season the tomato with a pinch of salt and a few drops of olive oil (not too much so that it does not slip off the skewer). We are going to assemble the mini carrot, tomato and avocado skewer. To make the colors stand out, we will first combine the carrot with a piece of yellow tomato, as shown in the image. To finish with this skewer, we cut the avocado in half, remove the central bone and chop the avocado into small cubes. Season with a few drops of lemon juice so that it does not oxidize. We finish the skewer with an avocado taco and reserve.
To assemble the mini tomato, cheese and olive skewers, first place the black olives so that they do not come off the skewer, a piece of red tomato and a block of cured cheese. These mini cold skewers are ideal for a children’s birthday, combining them with sandwich canapés and mini pizzas for children.
If it is an adult gathering, then we recommend serving them with some dipping sauces on the side, such as a pesto sauce or mango chutney. Bon Appetite!
