How to make Chicharrón with nopales in red sauce:

In the following image you can see the ingredients that we will need to prepare our delicious recipe for pork rinds with nopales in red sauce.

To start we are going to start by cooking the red tomatoes. For this, we place them in a saucepan with boiling water and let them cook for approximately 10 minutes with a piece of onion and a clove of garlic. On the other hand, we take the nopales, cut them into small rectangles and place them in a saucepan with boiling water so that they cook with a pinch of salt. We cook them for about 10 minutes. Once ready, remove them from the water and reserve them. Once the red tomatoes are ready, we take them to the blender along with the garlic and onion with which they were cooked, and we proceed to blend them until we obtain a uniform sauce for the pork rinds with nopales.

Next, place oil in a saucepan over medium heat, and once hot, add the sauce that we have just made and let it cool for 5 minutes. Once this time has passed, take the pieces of pork rinds and add them to the red sauce, stir to integrate the pork rinds well into the sauce. Let them cook together for 3 minutes. After this time, we add the nopales that we cooked previously and let them be integrated into the preparation of the pork rinds in red sauce with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Finally, we add the pinch of oregano and move to integrate the pork rinds with nopales perfectly well, and let them season for 5 minutes.

AND READY! We serve the chicharrón hot with nopales in red sauce and we can accompany it with a little ground beans or a cup of white rice. Bon Appetite!
