How to make Carpaccio Sandwich – Gourmet Cold Sandwiches:
To start preparing this delicious gourmet sandwich, place all the ingredients on the work table and get to work toasting the slices of bread.
This Carpaccio sandwich is designed to be eaten right away, but another option is to prepare several and cut them into four to serve as small cold appetizers. We will be placing the ingredients step by step so that you do not lose detail of the preparation of this elegant easy appetizer. So, start by placing the arugula.
The arugula will give the dish a bitter touch, if you don’t like it you can substitute it with lamb’s lettuce which has a milder flavor. Now, cut the avocado into thin slices, as seen in the photo, and place as much avocado as necessary to cover the entire surface of the bread.
If you prefer to place the avocado in paste you can follow the traditional guacamole recipe. To season the base salad of our gourmet sandwich, I recommend adding a splash of olive oil or, if you prefer, some flavored oil, such as a little dried tomatoes. Place the slices of beef Carpaccio on top of all this together with a pinch of coarse salt.
If you want to enjoy these same ingredients but with another presentation, you can review the Carpaccio salad recipe, it’s great! Finish the sandwich by adding the extras that are Parmesan cheese and dehydrated onion. We have also added a dash of balsamic reduction.
If you don’t like the taste of dehydrated onion you can also use fried potato sticks. Place the lid on the bread and ready to serve! This fabulous Carpaccio sandwich is quite a dish, it has a spectacular presentation and as you can see, it is very easy to make, so if you have the ingredients at home, be sure to try it.
