How many times have you heard about skewers? Skewers of beef, shrimp, pork, chicken or a combination of all of them and they are always the same… Pieces of meat accompanied by vegetables… How about we try something different that gives a change to a very common dish and known as beef skewers with peppers, but now stuffed?

Join us and let’s innovate with this recipe for beef skewers with cheese, Mexican style.

Ingredients to make Beef Skewers with Cheese:

  • 200 grams of beef steak
  • 60 grams of panela cheese
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Lemon
  • ½ tablespoon of whole black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of Moztaza
  • 1 tablespoon of Ketchup

How to make Beef Skewers with Cheese:

Here are the ingredients to use in the beef skewers with cheese. As it is about Mexican brochettes, in the ingredients we have panela cheese, but if you cannot get this cheese you can substitute it with mozzarella cheese.

To begin we are going to prepare a small dressing to marinate the meat. For this dressing, add the lemon juice, garlic, onion, cumin, whole pepper, mustard, and ketchup to the blender. With marinated beef skewers, they will taste even better.

The marinade sauce should be as seen in this image, a slightly thick mixture with a strong flavor that will give flavor to our Mexican brochettes. And then we add the beef in the dressing for about 5 minutes to marinate.

Once the meat is ready, we take a fajita of it and place a piece of panela cheese inside it, then we wrap the cheese with the meat and thus we form a kind of little sacks with all the meat and cheese.

On the other hand, to continue with the beef brochette with peppers, we cut the vegetables into medium square-shaped pieces, as we see in the image.

Once we have the meat and cheese sacks and the chopped vegetables, we insert them on the skewers, and we place our shaped beef and cheese skewers on the oven rack, covered with a little spray oil.

And we put the beef skewers with peppers in the oven previously preheated to 200°C for 15 minutes.

After this time we take the beef skewers with cheese out of the oven and they will be ready! To be tasted. Bon Appetite!
