Ingredients to make Mango Shrimp Ceviche:
- 1 kilogram of cooked cheap shrimp
- 1 unit of purple onion
- 1 cup of Cilantro chopped
- 3 units of chopped Serrano chili
- 1 unit of Handle
- 7 units of green lemon
- 3 units of red tomato
- 1 pinch of oregano
- 1 bay leaf
How to make Mango Shrimp Ceviche:
Cook the shrimp for 3 to 5 minutes, until the shellfish has changed color to a pinkish hue. Cut the red tomato, cilantro, onion, chilies (if you want to avoid it being spicy, devein them) and the mango into small pieces. Put the chopped shrimp in a bowl and add the lemon juice, salt, oregano, bay leaf and a little olive oil. Let stand for 5 minutes and finally add the rest of the ingredients. It is ideal to serve the shrimp ceviche with mango as a snack on toast, with beer or a white wine.
If you like it spicy, mix sliced red onion, stripped habanero chili, oregano and add sour orange juice. It is important that the mango is not too ripe to prevent it from sweetening the ceviche.
