Ingredients to make Baked Apple Fritters:

  • 125 milliliters of milk
  • 80 grams of flour
  • 60 grams of butter
  • 2 units of eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 apple
  • 1 dash of anise

How to make Baked Apple Fritters:

  1. Heat the oven to 180ºC. In a saucepan put the milk, the butter, the pinch of salt and the jet of aniseed.
  2. When the milk is hot and everything is well mixed, add the flour at once. Stir until well integrated.
  3. Add the eggsone at a time.
  4. Stir the first egg well and do not add the second until it is well integrated. You should have a thick porridge-like mass.
  5. Grate the apple very finely or chop it into pieces.
  6. Add the apple to the creamand mix well.
  7. Put a baking tray with paper and, with a spoon, go putting portions of this dough a little separated from each other. Put the tray in the oven and let the simple homemade fritters cook. When golden, remove and let cool
  8. When your fluffy apple fritters are cold, paint them with a little aniseed, ground cinnamon or icing sugar, you can use a kitchen brush.
