Mexican Shrimp Ceviche Recipe

FoodsDiary By FoodsDiary

Ceviche is a dish made from the mixture of various ingredients, generally vegetables, with a type of marinated fish or shellfish. Doing it at home is very simple, follow the steps that we show you and you will learn how to prepare Mexican shrimp ceviche.

Ingredients to make Mexican Shrimp Ceviche:

  • 1 kilogram of shrimp
  • 2 units of Onions
  • 450 grams of tomato
  • 2 units of Cucumbers
  • 5 units of Jalapeños (optional)
  • 1 bunch of coriander
  • 1 branch of Celery
  • 1 cup of Tomato Ketchup Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of Sauce Valentina
  • Toasts
  • 2 units of Avocados

How to make Mexican Shrimp Ceviche:

Clean and cook the shrimp. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, jalapeños, cilantro, and celery. Another slightly more elaborate but delicious option is to marinate the shrimp with lemon juice. Very easy, once clean (without the head or the dark vein of the loin), we chop them and let them marinate in a refractory with the juice of 10 lemons and a pinch of salt. Cover the container and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 40-45 minutes. Place the chopped ingredients in a glass container and mix well. Add the sauce and the cooked and drained shrimp and continue mixing. Once all the ingredients of the Mexican shrimp ceviche are mixed, we serve it on toast and decorate with slices of avocado. Delicious and easy! Ideal to accompany it with rice, Mexican tortillas and a cold beer.
