The nuggets are a starter or snack widely consumed, especially by children. However, it is not the healthiest option due to its high content of saturated fat. The recipe that I bring is for some delicious cauliflower and cheese nuggets with a very smooth and creamy texture. To add a touch of flavor and mask this vegetable a little, since it is not the favorite of many children and adults, we are going to season the cauliflower and add grated cheese inside that will make these vegan cauliflower nuggets irresistible.
Ingredients to make vegan cauliflower nuggets:
- 1 small cauliflower
- 4 tablespoons of peas
- 5 tablespoons grated vegan cheese or other
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
How to make Vegan Cauliflower Nuggets:
Separate the cauliflower into florets and cook in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until soft. Drain the cauliflower and mash it with a fork. Season the cauliflower with the salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and mix well.
Grate the cheese and add it to the cauliflower. I have used a vegan cheese, but you can use any other type of yellow cheese.
