  1. 200 grams of strawberries
  2. 125 grams of cream or milk cream
  3. 50 grams of brown sugar
  4. 120 milliliters of Milk (½ cup)
  5. 1 tablespoon fresh Basil

How to make Strawberry Basil Smoothie:

  • We gather all the ingredients to prepare our fruit smoothie with milk.
  • If you like the strawberry-basil mixture but want to make a lighter drink, you can substitute homemade lemonade for the milk and heavy cream.
  • Bearing this in mind, we begin by washing and chopping the strawberries. Remember to remove the green stem part.
  • Wash the basil leaves and place them in the blender as well.
  • Basil is a digestive plant that also has some antioxidant properties, so including it in our diet will always be beneficial.
  • Next we add the rest of the ingredients in the blender, these are the sugar, the milk and the milk cream.
  • Now we turn on the blender and blend everything until the ingredients are completely integrated. If you see that the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more milk.
  • Pass the mixture through a strainer to give the fruit meringue a silkier texture without lumps.
  • Finally, serve the strawberry and basil smoothie in a glass with ice and decorate with whipped cream or a piece of fresh fruit.
