Ingredients to make homemade coffee liqueur:

  • 100 grams of natural roasted coffee beans
  • 250 grams of Sugar (1¼ cups)
  • 1 liter of brandy
  • 100 milliliters of Water
  • 1 unit of Orange
  • 1 unit of Lemon
  • 5 pieces of Star Anise

How to make homemade coffee liqueur:

  1. Mix the coffee beans with the star anise and the brandy, and leave to macerate for 24 hours.
  2. Once this time has passed, wash the oranges and lemon well.
  3. Cut the peels in Juliana.
  4. Blanch them in boiling water, drain and reserve.
  5. Make a syrup with the sugar and water and add the citrus skins.
  6. Allow the coffee liqueur to cool, add the brandy and filter into a pretty bottle.
