Homemade cherry liqueur

Ingredients to make homemade cherry liqueur:

  • 300g cherries
  • 40 cc 40° alcohol
  • 300cc water
  • 300g sugar
  • a dash of anise
  • 2 nails

How to make homemade cherry liqueur:

  1. Wash the cherries well, leaving them submerged in water for a few minutes.
  2. Dry with a cloth and put them in a wide-mouthed bottle or an airtight glass container.
  3. Step 2 Add the alcohol and cloves and move the container. Cover tightly.
  4. Step 3 Prepare a syrup by cooking the sugar and water for 5 minutes over low heat.
  5. Let cool and add a dash of aniseed. Fill the bottle and move again to mix it well.
  6. Cover tightly for at least 3 months of rest.
