Ingredients to make Salad Sandwich:

  • 1 Arabic pita bread
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tomato
  • A piece of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can of anchovies
  • Ground white pepper
  • Basil leaves
  • Black olive
  • Salt

How to make Salad Sandwich:

Open an Arabic pita bread and brush the inside with a dash of good olive oil. A tomato is washed, cut into very thin slices, sprinkled with salt and left to rest.

Cut a piece of mozzarella cheese into thin slices; the cheese and the tomato are placed inside the sandwich overlapping the slices, in the shape of a fan, a small can of anchovies is opened, they are drained from the oil and three fillets are placed on the cheese and the tomato. Sprinkle everything with freshly ground white pepper, place a few leaves of fresh basil and a few pieces of black olive on top and serve.
