Recipe for Enrollados with Mexican-style flour tortillas

If you like Mexican food but are still learning how to cook it, you will love this recipe. These are rolls made with Mexican-style flour tortillas, very simple and delicious. Read on and prepare these simple Mexican chicken wraps.

Ingredients to make Enrollados with flour tortillas Mexican style:

  • 6 units of Mexican flour tortillas
  • 1 cup sour cream or 1 large cream cheese
  • 3 units of Chives (the green part cut into long strips)
  • 1 large Avocado unit
  • 2 units of red bell peppers cut into strips
  • 3 tablespoons chopped coriander
  • 2 chicken breasts cooked and cut into strips
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch of Spicy (optional)

How to make Enrollados with flour tortillas Mexican style:

Cut the peppers into strips. We cook the chicken breasts beforehand and cut them, too, into thin strips. Take a container and mix the sour cream or cream cheese with the finely chopped cilantro. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

Peel the avocado and cut it into slices. We place it in a container and sprinkle it with lemon juice so that it acquires a black tone. Cut the flour tortillas in half and place a little of the cream cheese or sour cream mixture on each of the halves. On this preparation, we put three strips of red paprika, two of chicken and one of avocado. We roll up each of the halves and tie them with one of the green ribbons that we cut from the chives.

We place the Mexican-style rolls on a tray and cover with plastic wrap to prevent them from drying out. We can add spice to taste, decorate with coriander sprigs and even season with the sauce that we like the most.
