Ingredients to make Mango Mojito:

  1. 100 grams of mango
  2. 1 lime
  3. 6 mint leaves
  4. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  5. 100 milliliters of soda, soda, or sparkling water
  6. 40 milliliters of white rum
  7. 5 ice cubes

How to make Mango Mojito:

  • Are you wondering how to prepare a mango mojito? Well, to make the mango mojito recipe, first prepare the mango. To do this, peel one half of the mango, as it will more or less be the 100 gr you need to make the mojito. Next, cut half of the mango into cubes with the help of a sharp knife.
  • In a bowl add the mango cubes, you can cut them flush with the bone with a knife. It also incorporates half a lime, well washed and cut into wedges. Do not remove the skin, as it will not be necessary to make the mango mojito. Also add the well-washed mint leaves and the brown sugar. Then, with the help of a pestle, mash all the mango pulp well together with the mint, lime and sugar.
  • When the ingredients are more or less crushed, add the soda, sparkling water or soda and continue crushing with the pestle so that the mixture is finer.
  • When you see that you have a finer textured mojito, add the white rum and mix well with the mortar.
  • Tip: you can also use dark rum and add more or less alcohol according to your preferences. If you want it without alcohol, you can replace the rum with mango juice and make a delicious alcohol-free mango mojito.
  • When you have everything well mixed, strain the mango mojito with the help of a strainer and, if you notice that there are still pieces of mango left, crush them with the pestle. When straining it, you will remove the large mint leaves and the remains of the lime rind.
  • Put the mango mojito in a wide and wide glass. Next, add the five ice cubes or to taste.
  • Serve immediately accompanied by a sprig of mint. Likewise, you already have your mango mojito ready to enjoy it at home, by the pool, on your terrace or chilled at home.
