Ingredients to make Gold Liqueur from Chiloé:
- 1 l raw milk
- 1 l lukewarm boiled water
- 1 l 90 degree alcohol
- 1 kg granulated sugar or in loaves
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 10 cloves
- 2 branches of vanilla
- 1 pinch saffron
How to make Gold Liqueur from Chiloé:
- All the ingredients of the gold liquor are placed together in a glass pot for 8 days (in maceration), taking care to stir daily so that the sugar dissolves and all the ingredients are mixed.
- After the eighth day it is filtered and bottled.
- Serve Chiloé gold liquoras an aperitif in small glasses as is typically done in southern Chile.
