How to make Fried Peppers:
Wash the peppers and dry them. If you are going to use Italian-type green peppers, cut off the top of the stem and remove the seeds. As these peppers are not very large, it is not necessary to chop them, you can fry them as well.
If, on the other hand, you use large peppers, such as red ones, wash and dry them as well. Chop them into large strips and remove all the seeds, remove the whitish parts from the inner area of the peppers.
Put the olive oil in a large saucepan or skillet and heat over high heat. When it is hot, place the peppers and lower the heat, as it is better to fry the peppers over a low heat. Turn them over when you see that the skin is already wrinkled and soft on one side. If you make fried green peppers, you should know that the cooking time is usually around 30 minutes, depending on the size.
If you are making fried red peppers, we still recommend cooking them over low heat. Chopped peppers are usually done before and in 20 minutes they will be ready.
