  • ½ cup of whole wheat flour (65 grams)
  • ½ cup flour 000 (65 grams)
  • ½ cup of oatmeal (65 grams)
  • 1 egg
  • 30 cubic centimeters of oil
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • For the filling:
  • caramel sauce
  • grated coconut

How to make oatmeal and coconut Alfajores:

  1. To start with the recipe for oatmeal and coconut alfajores, first beat the sugar with the oil, the egg and the vanilla essence to dissolve the sugar crystals.
  2. If you want to replace sugar with sweetener, you can use about 3 sachets of any suitable for cooking. Next, turn the oven on to 160ºC to preheat.
  3. Tip: you can also flavor these alfajores with the essence or zest of some citrus.
  4. Add the oat flour. Remember that if you do not have flour, you can use 1 cup of rolled oats and process them, since they will reduce to half a cup of flour. Book it.
