• 400 grams of cooked chickpeas

• 1 unit of Lemon (the juice)

• 1 garlic clove (or two)

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 pinch of Paprika

• 1 jet of olive oil

How to make Easy Hummus:

Making hummus is very simple. First, you must get all the ingredients ready to make sure you have everything on hand. You can buy the chickpeas already cooked or cook them yourself. You should know that, if you wish, you can replace the lemon juice with a little of the water from the chickpeas (the necessary amount). Take the blender or a container with a high edge and start by mashing the chickpeas with the lemon juice. Process until you get a lump-free paste. Then add one or two peeled garlic cloves, depending on how strong you want your hummus to be.

Keep beating and add salt and paprika to taste. Finally, add a good splash of olive oil and continue blending until completely integrated. It should have a thick, homogeneous and smooth consistency.

Serve the homemade hummus sprinkled with a little paprika and a drizzle of olive oil. You can consume it with toast, pita bread, etc. You can prepare a menu based on starters, with tuna or rice croquettes, empanadas and fried potatoes, or cook chicken in mushroom sauce, or the protein that you like the most.
