The empanada dough can be bread, puff pastry or short crust pastry, but in this case, we are going to show you how to easily make an empanada dough with Thermo mix. Once done, you decide what you want to fill it with or if you want to portion it large, like a Galician empanada, or smaller, like the typical tuna dumplings.

• 100 grams of milk
• 100 grams of Oil
• 1 unit of Egg
• 1 tablespoon of lard
• 1 teaspoon of bread yeast
• 400 grams of flour
How to make empanada dough with Thermo mix:
The first thing we have to do to prepare this simple empanada dough is to put the milk in the Thermo mix glass at speed 1 and at a temperature of 50ºC for 1 minute. Next, and in this order, add the yeast, oil, egg and lard, and mix everything at speed 2. Add the flour and salt and then knead for 2 minutes on spike speed. ET voila!
