Tomato and Tuna Salad Recipe

This tomato and tuna salad that we propose is rich in protein, making it perfect for athletes. In addition to the tuna, it includes a hard-boiled egg and anchovy-stuffed olives. Easy and quick to prepare, and very rich.

Ingredients to make Tomato and Tuna Salad:

  • 3 units of Tomato
  • 1 can of prickly pear
  • 2 units of Egg
  • 2 tablespoons anchovy stuffed green olives
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano

How to make Tomato and Tuna Salad:

Here we have the ingredients of this tuna and hard-boiled egg salad, which we will accompany with a dressing of extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar of Modena and oregano. The first step in preparing this tomato salad is to hard-boil the eggs. We will put them in a saucepan with boiling water and salt for 10 minutes. After this time, we will leave them for a few seconds under cold water, wait a bit for them to cool down and peel them.

While the eggs are cooking, we are preparing the rest of the protein salad. Wash and chop the tomatoes, and place them in a bowl along with the shredded tuna and the green olives stuffed with anchovies.

Now we prepare the tomato salad dressing. In a small bowl, mix about two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, one of balsamic vinegar of Modena (be careful with the amount if you want to take care of the line because it contains sugar) and a teaspoon of oregano, as well as a pinch of salt. When the eggs are ready, add them to the salad and dress it with the balsamic vinegar dressing. The protein -rich tomato, hard-boiled egg and tuna salad is ready.
