Ingredients to make Red Bean Salad with Quinoa:
- 1 can of cooked red beans (200 g)
- 1 piece of red pepper
- 1 tomato for salad
- 100 grams of quinoa
- 1 avocado
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin, salt
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sweet mustard (American)
- 1 piece of green pepper
- 1 piece of onion (optional)
How to make Red Bean Quinoa Salad:
- Put the cooked beans in a colander and rinse until they lose that foam that usually forms, do not put them under running water to prevent them from falling apart or breaking. Reserve to drain.
- Cook red quinoa or any other variety you find on the market. To do this, you will only have to rinse it with tap water and cook it for ten minutes with half a glass of water and a pinch of salt. Cover and cook over low heat.
- Trick: Do not forget to always rinse the quinoa so that it does not become bitter later due to the sapiens it contains.
